A Letter from our Founder

Dear Readers, 

One year ago today, I began my venture in the internship search. As I filtered through offers, I decided I didn’t want to work for someone else. Instead, I decided to do something with my peers that we’ve had success with in the past — Investment Research. Coming off the heels of winning a stock pitch competition from our newly founded Student Investment Fund at The College of the Holy Cross, we launched a private fund of our own. With that fund, we brought together a variety of perspectives and backgrounds and taught ourselves how to understand complex financial models and reasoning.

We then found ourselves in the midst of a global pandemic and saw an opportunity to share our knowledge and help others navigate this rapidly changing environment. Times are tough, but hopefully we’re here to make them a little less daunting by providing you with what we know best: simplifying complicated financial jargon and research into terms that everyone can understand. That’s what the judges told us when we beat out the mechanical engineering and applied physics majors of MIT, Harvard, Columbia, and Cornell at that pitch competition. With that being said, we couldn’t be more excited to launch our financial strategy firm and podcast series, exemplifying these very abilities from just a couple of driven, liberal arts majors. It is our utmost goal to give you objectivity and clarity with your investment strategies to ultimately deliver you Finance: Made Simple.
